Now I don't know much about groundkeeping, but can you really lay new turf on the morning of a game and expect to have a half decent pitch?

FFS i thought my local pitches were bad. We'll just have to forget about it and get on with it. No use moaning just get fired right intae them.

I would probably drop mcfadden after seeing that picture of the pitch. It won't suit his style. Boyd must start. If we get balls into the box he is likely to put one in.

The pitch looks dreadful. Aparently they were going to put grass in the goalmouths, where there's just mud, a la yer public parks at the end of winter. Instead, they've rolled them and put down SAND!
