Colin Hendry is a decent goalie too!

was it just me or did were the commentary team more interesting in slagging off Ally than giving credit for the world class saves of Andy Goram.

On another note it is a great thing that they are doing its just a pity that we are continually bombarded with pro-english p!sh right through it.

Andy Goram's saves were simply brilliant. If you didn't know who he was and you saw him lining up in the goal then you would fancy your chances against him. I seriously cannot think of a better British goalkeeper that i've seen in my lifetime. If it wasn't for him then there is no way Rangers would've won 9 in a row. The amount of times that he single handedly stopped Celtic during that period was unbelievable

I've seen him do that before! Playing for Rangers at Ibrox against Saints, Paddy Connolly springs the offside trap but Paddy being Paddy doesn't dare try to finish an easy chance so rounds Stefan Klos then slots home... only for Hendry to dive full-length and block it. Red card and penalty to Saints. Unfortunately, John O'Neil missed it and after hitting the woodwork three times we succumb to a 80th minute goal from Sergio Porrini.

For a fat old man Andy Goram is still a pretty good goalie, could mabye still get a game for one or two of the mid-table teams in the 2nd div.

I see McCoist & Goram are keeping themselves fit & slim...

BTW - Did ou see the size of Bryan Gunn when he came on for the second half?? I didn't realise there was a third Mitchell brother!!

I'd have Goram, McCoist, Durie & McAllister in the Berwick team for next season, no problems!!
