Hey we all hate that clown that turns up every year in an array of Coventry shirts, right? Well, er, he proposed to his burd at the Crucible a few years ago:

Anyone else hoping she spends her Saturdays sucking off the players from the local rugby club whilst he's away watching Coventry getting pumped?

No. Find that quite a bizarre and disturbing thing to wish for tbh.

Stuart Bingham is banned for betting - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/snooker/41732548

"Former world snooker champion Stuart Bingham has been banned for six months for betting breaches.

Bingham, 41, was found guilty of breaking World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) rules on betting on matches involving himself and other players.

The world number 10 must also pay £20,000 in costs.

The WPBSA said there was no suggestion that he aimed to "influence matches or engage in any corrupt activity".

Half of his ban will be suspended."

Ridiculously short ban!

Basically he bet on himself to win a few times and he also bet on his highest break in a tournament being beaten - essentially hedging his bets so he had some return.

The amounts appear to be small fry for a guy earning 6 figures to the point I just don't understand. Utter stupidity.

Hendry and Davis commentating on the Gould v Xiao match and openly questioning shot selection, calling shit shots out, not blaming someone in the audience for breathing when either player misses and being informative.  Vastly different from Thorne and Virgo who would talk pish, excuse any crap shots, and generally reminisce about the 70's and 80's.

Good. Used to hate Thorne commentating. Even when he'd critique someone I'd be sitting there saying "what have you ever won?" When 2 of the greatest players ever to pick up a cue are the ones making comments, I'm more inclined to listen.

BBC presenter says impressive win for Murphy, Parrott replies no, Walden was given ample chances, took none and Murphy fortunate not to be playing someone better.  :thumsup2

Davis in commentary wondering aloud why Xiao didn't play the same attacking shot earlier. The BBC commentary team sounds like they could finally be worth listening to.
