LongTimeLurker Posted December 17, 2014 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Think a lot depends if you regard Sauchie as a separate town or not (not knocking people from there but like a lot of the central belt's post-WWII council housing the planners who designed the layout of the place could have done a much better job) and even there it's getting a bit gentrified out towards Fishcross. (What a thing to whine about by the way! ) I've never heard a single person, never mind "the rest of Scotland refer to it as Castlemilk-on-Sea". It's basically the focal point of the whole community. It's not so much the Tesco itself, but the ugliness of the people who dwell within that continues to astound me. Funnily enough this was brought on by a completely unrelated thread where i had mentioned i would have liked to be a heating engineer if i could turn the clock back and got pelters for my lack of ambition.
