Strongest team available so pleased overall.  All we need is for Finn to remember his brain and we're good to go.

It'll be interesting to see who starts at centre alongside Sam Johnson for Glasgow on Friday night since Grigg's with Scotland.  Ruaridh Jackson isn't in the Scotland squad I can see so I reckon he'll start at 15 for Glasgow.  Lee Jones was concussed during the Cheetahs game on Friday night.  I'm not sure if he's injured or recovered but Toony's allowed him to stay with Glasgow...

Jones and Edinburgh's Cochrane both were returned to their clubs to  complete the return to play protocalls

It's now a 6 year tradition of my son's pal and his dad coming to Kinky Heights to watch the Calcutta Cup and it's been the same pattern...chili, rice, nachos, salsa, guacamole and a Scotland pumping.

Each year I get excited about the Calcutta Cup only to be let down.  On Saturday I'm cooking Stovies.  That'll make the difference, Shirley?

Were you hoping to open a debate on the meat content?

Just realised we have Nigel Owens reffing tomorrow. I would say that lifts my level of optimism  that we can get some sort of result as Owens doesn't pander to the favourites normally (unlike the majority of the Irish refs) so we should get a fairly reffed game for a change

Yeah, though it is a high profile tv game so he might start showing off for the cameras and do the whole " it's not soccer now boyo" routine. When that starts he tends to lose the plot with the actual reffing, which could work for or against us.
