come on shire
Strongest team available so pleased overall. All we need is for Finn to remember his brain and we're good to go. It'll be interesting to see who starts at centre alongside Sam Johnson for Glasgow on Friday night since Grigg's with Scotland. Ruaridh Jackson isn't in the Scotland squad I can see so I reckon he'll start at 15 for Glasgow. Lee Jones was concussed during the Cheetahs game on Friday night. I'm not sure if he's injured or recovered but Toony's allowed him to stay with Glasgow...

Jones and Edinburgh's Cochrane both were returned to their clubs to complete the return to play protocalls

Savage Henry
I'd feel a lot more comfortable with Nel in the front row, and a bit more bulk at inside centre, but I reckon that aside it's as strong as Scotland could put out .

That'll make the difference, Shirley?

Mark Connolly
Disappointed Keatley is only on the bench for Munster, he was dreadful last week.
honestly united
Just realised we have Nigel Owens reffing tomorrow. I would say that lifts my level of optimism that we can get some sort of result as Owens doesn't pander to the favourites normally (unlike the majority of the Irish refs) so we should get a fairly reffed game for a change

When that starts he tends to lose the plot with the actual reffing, which could work for or against us.
Allan Jacobsen
When Nigel Owens takes it seriously, he's the best referee in the world. When Nigel Owens decides that he's off on one, you'd be as well having Nigel Bates (one for the EastEnders viewers) refereeing. Leggy Blonde
My expectations of beating England over the years have plummeted to almost zero. Particularly given how we embarrassed ourselves last year. If we at least give a good showing and keep it competitive tomorrow, I'll be happy.
Mark Connolly
Glasgow need to get to HT 2 scores down or better. That wind is brutal. ETA: As is our lineout. Edited February 23, 2018 by Mark Connolly
