Savage Henry
This has all the makings of a legendary test... Or not. Either way a draw is the least likely outcome.
Lex
Got him Shami! Ballance gone for 27, England 70-2.
Lex
BOOM! Sharma gets Bell with a beauty, The Sherminator is out for 1. England 71-3. India's to lose now.
dorlomin
Oh well, so much for 45\55. Cook closing in on his half fifty though. Not all bad.
Lex
Sharma ripping England up. Who's gone now? Cook! For 22. Not a bad innings by his laughable recent standards. England 72-4. Pretty much game over you'd think.

endieinreekie
This has the makings of a very fine finish to a Test match. England off to a solid start so far, but there's always the possibility of a collapse once one wicket falls.
mjw
These two seem to be playing well enough and there have only been a few ropey moments. This could be a great days play. Root gets his 50 then Ali is out last ball before lunch. Edited July 21, 2014 by mjw
CambCelt
Oh dear, five down now at lunch. I'm Rooting for Joe!
Savage Henry
Tremendous test. India favourites, but England making a real go of things. A decent test wicket and two pretty equal teams. A rare combination indeed.
mjw
The collapse is on,Ben Stokes gets a pair. Edited July 21, 2014 by mjw
Benjamin_Nevis
Another arse-collapse from England The shots they're getting themselves out with are utterly chronic. Stokes's was particularly laughable considering he'd just watched Prior do something equally stupid. Root gone now as well, England are fucked.
Lex
What a terrible, terrible side England are, it's amazing how quickly they've declined. They get the perfect pitch and win the toss in this test. Most of the Indians have never seen a green top like that never mind played on one. Yet England still lose! Worst test side in then world IMO, this will be 10 tests without a win, what a joke.
CambCelt
Yep. We're crap at just about everything right now!
die hard doonhamer
Words fail me. I saw Vaughan suggest that Morgan should be brought in as captain. I think he's the nearest thing England have to a captain right now.
Benjamin_Nevis
Some stark reading for England fans on that BBC update. Last 6 wickets fall for 50 runs. Five bouncers and a comedy run out. They've never recovered from the comprehensive arse-ripping they got from Mitchell Johnson.
endieinreekie
Calypso collapso!!!! Bloody hell, with England there is always a chance of a collapse but that was astonishing.
die hard doonhamer
Is it just me or is the collapse almost always just after lunch? What on earth do they do during the break, get drunk? I wouldn't be surprised with some of the shots played.
