The Leeds Thread

Even though we've been dragged to hell and back, yesterday showed just why this spectacular club can never fade away - the fans, the club, are at a level that in reality other than £800m squad clubs in the UK and Europe no one touches us for reputation. We are Leeds - you might not like us, but you know who the f**k we are.

What a mess of a badge.

Heading down to the Brentford game on the 24th Feb. Arriving by train, what’s the easiest way to get to the ground? And where’s best for pre/post match beers?

Depending on how many of you there are either taxi from the station or the bus.

There are two options for the bus:-

1. Service bus Number 1 from Neville street to Beeston.

2. First run buses direct to ER from Sovereign Street which is the first left as you walk down Neville st. This will also take you back into Leeds after the game and costs around £3 return roughly.

You could also walk it in 30 mins or so if you want.

The Pavillion is opposite the East Stand and the Old Peacock is on Elland Road itself opposite the south stand.

Beeston has the old white hart and the whistlestop which are both up the top of the hill from ER.

Once back in Leeds after the game there are plenty pubs to choose from near to the railway station.

I know who Rose West is. It's nothing to boast about.

apart from isolated outbreaks of the usual cringeworthy and self-regarding conceit, that's an interesting and surprisingly cogent read - thanks for sharing
