No interest in heading out to Islanders. I loved the PC tbh, it's a far better place to watch Hockey for me, but if you've not been to MSG before then I'd maybe head there just so you can see it due to all the history etc. If you've been before then PC is great imo.

Oh boy, you are in for a treat! Still, it's only a PTO, might be enough time for the Avs to realise he's dogshit.
Miguel Sanchez
Collective opinion seems to be that he can't skate and doesn't know where he should be, so hopefully cheapness wins out and we have some variation of Mironov/Bigras/Siemens/Lindholm on the bottom pairing who offer a similar ability level while being much more cost-controlled.
JamieStevenson
Hoping Babcock can get it together this year. Last year was encouraging. Matthews is an absolute joy to watch.
tigerton
Only pretty season, but back to back thumpings handed out to the Leafs by the Sens this week. Happy days. Sens twitter abuzz with more Duchene trade rumours, but the Avs probably want Chabot and they ain't getting no Chabot.
Miguel Sanchez
Matthew Duchene is going nowhere thank you. If you have FreeSports, the Vancouver/Los Angeles preseason game from China is currently on.
Torpar
As Tigerton said it's only preseason but I did enjoy watching the Sens getting pumped in PEI last night, Nico Hischier looks top quality

tigerton
Cowen hasn't been cut yet. He has now. James Cowan eh? Can't get a game for a Leafs team that was talking. Can't get in this Avs team. He is not good.
Miguel Sanchez
Maybe one day the idea of Big Body Presence will finally be discounted by NHL scouts. Until then, plugs like Cowen will be able to make money regardless of skating ability of spatial awareness.
Miguel Sanchez
The first FreeSports NHL games are up, next Friday at 12:30AM (well, Saturday morning) there's Panthers/Lightning and then 7PM on Saturday you have the privilege of watching the Burgundy Juggernaut go to New Jersey.
Miguel Sanchez
Also after looking at the FreeSports schedule next week, it looks like they're going to be showing something called NHL On the Fly every day at 5PM with highlights and stuff, so it should be quite easy to follow most of the league this year.
invergowrie arab
Premier were showing on the fly the past two years. It was quite good. I'm going to devils v caps in a fortnight. Couldn't justify 100 quid a ticket for Rangers games when I'm already paying that for NFL tickets.
Torpar
Paid $50 a ticket to watch the Leafs-Red Wings preseason game on Saturday, turned out to be more of a Marlies-Griffins game, I recognised more of the Detroit players than Toronto. Game was at the 8,000 capacity Ricoh Coliseum, I much prefer watching games there to the Air Canada Centre. Two days to go....

Sauzee#4
Jagr signing for the Flames has got me excited. Even if his output isn’t what it used to be, what an influence to have in the dressing room.

Torpar
Solid game last night from the Leafs, I'm looking forward to the parade down Yonge Street already! Felt like I was watching an under 12s game at some points though with the refs enforcing the little rules like visors fitting properly and jerseys untucked. Also Jiri Hudler, some boy!
