Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

its crammed full of shite for 2 nights at seaton-sands with her parents. if we had been doing anything else but escaping the house for a few nights and few drinks id understand. we are driving there for teatime and coming back sunday. no shopping just 2 nights in a shitty caravan with the in laws.

i think i agree with swarley. shes leaving me.

Swarly may be right, have you asked her if was "boy" scout? . Questions have to be answered? Hedgecutter I'm sure can help you our, not just with tents(accommodation). But your bus out off town, sorry M8

Drove all the way up to Elgin yesterday as I agreed to take my old dad (RIP) for a hospital appointment entailing some kind of oscopy or another. Got up to the hospital earlier and it’s been fucking cancelled.

Do it yourself.

yes the inlaws are. i shouldnt be classed down because of them! this started out a great idea. im going to be misserable by sunday

is the MiL a "wid" though, even slightly ?

maybe lace her cups of tea with gin - you might get a cheeky handjob in the bus-shelter on the seafront road out of it - could be your "dirty little secret" ?

Years ago (when a Boy Scout) I was told 'always get the biggest rucksack you think you will ever need, you don't need to fill it.' This meant that for longer trips you could use the same one as for weekends, and didn't need to tie stuff on the outside etc.
Is the bird's HUGE suitcase actually full? Maybe it is just not crammed so that her best party frocks don't get too creased? Alternatively where are you going? Is there an opportunity for some retail therapy on her part, and she will need the extra space for the way back?
Someone I know goes away with two nesting suitcases, one inside the other. The inside one is full of clothes etc and this is then inside the larger one. Only one suitcase to book on the flight out.
At destination the larger suitcase is filled with purchases, and now two suitcases booked on the way back!  Think yourself lucky this is not what your bird is up to!

You're single, aren't you?

Just arrived in Lanzarote yesterday and the weather is not too great.  Generally overcast which, with the standard winds over here, make it less than holiday weather.

Its forecast to be like this for the whole fortnight.

At least we will get plenty of exercise.  Walked 11 miles so far today.

When you go abroad to the same place for years and your favourite bar changes owners and ends up being the most expensive place in the resort.

I've been unaware that when I pre-ordered Chvrches new album that I entered a competition to win tickets to a show, and I've won it but it's in London next week! Raging I can't go to something I had no idea about.
