Any budding managers who want to develop a blueprint for success, that includes, a modern 2018 style of football shouldn't apply!!...only applications considered from old school fitba maniacs please...lets git intae them, thats whit junior fitba has always been about!!

Best of luck to whoever gets the job and hope the committee takes this opportunity to think outside the box...maybe this can be the dawning of a new successful era?!

You need to calm down with the ‘style of fitba’ patter Jose mourinho.

Should give it to big Scott Geir. Guys a winner n will have the boys up for it.

Nonsense. We are partly in this position because we gave the job to a novice. I like big Scott but doubt he is ready to move into management yet. The problem Arthurlie have is the people who pick the managers dont know the game. They know how to run a club but should leave the picking of the manager to someone who does. We have the very guy there in Jimmy McQuade. He should be in at any interviews and advise the committee on who the best person is for the job. This is not a dig at the committee but just an honest assessment of how we should be handling the situation.

I can speak 1st hand that advice has been sought & taken in the past when I was involved. We have given the job to novices in the past and it’s worked out. It didn’t this time, but the club shouldn’t be fun shy from hiring the right candidate no matter the experience. Its about getting the right fit for the club.

The club needs direction and forward planning. This year to year stuff has to end, only then will the club find stability.

Should this not have had a government health warning  displayed on it?
