Can anyone verify this childhood memory; pineapple fritter suppers (from the chipper)? Sure my Mum used to choose this.

Yup, pineapple fritters from the chipper were a thing. Think some Chinese chippers still do them along with banana fritters.

That’s what we called a joiner m8, would have been too confusing to call the chipper that.

Why wouldn't you just call a joiner a joiner, for that's what they are.

Some horrific use of the word "dinner"to describe tea. Away and shite with that.

Breakfast, dinner then tea.

Piece time either side of dinner.

Id even let you away with supper as a pre bed time snack.

Anyway, had home made burgers for my tea. Lovely. Cheese, tam sass and some onions on top.

Not having that. Its breakfast, dinner and tea. Were you born in Dundee or the south of England!?

In Dundee - Maryfield Hospital.  Seriously though, nobody south of Manchester would understand dinner was lunch and tea was dinner - tea is a drink to them.

Yeah, i know - couldn't care less about them understanding me or not! :lol:

If i ever venture down there, they'll still take my money for lunch, tea, dinner, supper or whatever the hell they call it.

Anyway, im at a wedding today so f**k knows what i ordered for my tea.

@Div

 can you please shut this place down until the fitba starts again.

Offseason should be reduced to two options, the worlds/euros* chat and The Wasteland for everything else.

*delete as applicable,no tourney=full Wasteland.
