Given there’s only a fortnight til the games have to be played by, is it inconceivable we could get some warning of when the games are likely to be?

Season defining matches and they’re squeezed in at the last second. [emoji849]

Identifying which Super First clubs are in the Premiership play-offs awaits the result of the Cumbernauld vs Largs game on Sunday.

Largs also have the AWP Cup Final on Saturday 9th so 1st leg on Wednesday 6th with 2nd leg the following week is perhaps the earliest likely scheduling.

As for the Championship play-offs (Maryhill & Shettleston vs  Whitletts & Wishaw/Neilston), they do indeed have to be drawn, plus the identity of the 4th placed Central Div1 participant awaits either Wishaw failing to win one of their remaining league games (Greenock on Saturday, Port Glasgow on Monday, vs Thorniewood on Wednesday or the Yoker and Shotts games still to be scheduled, probably Saturday 9th and Monday 11th), in which case Neilston play-off, or winning all of them.

Shettleston, one of their potential Super 1st opponents, are still in the West of Scotland Cup, playing Darvel on Saturday, so if they win will have a QF on Monday and possibly a SF on Saturday 9th and a Final God knows when!

All of this is possibly trumped by the decision to draw the play-off ties and not to have done so yet. Such draws are usually made at a WRSJFA meeting, and the next one of those is the Management meeting on Tuesday 12th June. That just leaves Wednesday 13th, Thursday 14th and Friday 15th to play both legs before the season ends

The draw could’ve been done without even knowing what teams are in it. 4th in ADL plays 2nd bottom of Super 1st etc

That would suggest that the ADL is a stronger league than the  Central League.  That's why it's not been drawn yet as SJFA need the two leagues to be seen as equal worth.

Absolutely so, which is why I referred to "the decision to draw the play-off ties and not to have done so yet."

Not at all. That would be true of such a decision WITHOUT a free draw, but a draw in advance is equally fair to a draw after the participants are all known.

Iv just heard tonight that the draw was actually made after the cup final on Sunday. If it was, why has it not been publicised yet? Why the big secret?

Maybe somebody chucked the fag packet in the recycling and they've forgotten about it.
