Willis furtado would be a good signing, bagged a few goals in league 1 as a wide midfielder

Questions over his attitude. Different accounts suggested that when with us, he was very prone to visiting the chip shop near his flat in Kirkcaldy. He's still very young at 20 and looked excellent when he first came in, but gradually he faded. At the end of the season, he wasn't starting games.

He could be an exceptional talent, but he'll let himself down if he keeps on the path he's on in terms of diet and professionalism.

Loy been tweeting a bit in the last few hours.

Would seem doubtful he's currently down the rock signing.

He's tweeted once since 31st May and that was this afternoon, wishing Falkirk and their fans all the best.

He was brought in on loan at St Mirren and played a massive part in keeping them up when they looked doomed. Falkirk fans were calling it the signing of the season when he opted to go there last summer but it ultimately never worked out for him for a variety of reasons already discussed.

I've heard of at least one full-time Championship side who had shown an interest in him this summer.

Him being 30 means nothing. The best player in the Championship is currently 35. 30 is hardly over the hill.

Whit? Never said he was over the hill either?

I said it would be a good signing and that League 1 is probably right for him now after 2 struggling seasons at the arse end of the league above, being at an age where he’ll have to think about his future and that there’ll be no good enough FT offers that could beat a FT job and a part time club.

Don’t see what’s wrong with saying that. It’s happened to loads of players over the years.

Now that's just not true, is it?

Would highly encourage sons to snap up Willis Furtado. Can see him going right to the top with his extreme talent.

Willis does not reach the hype put on him. Lazy and disappointing are the 2 words I'd use to describe him.

There's something strange about the contract he's under with a parent club I'm sure as well. He didn't have a huge impact in this league with Airdrie and from all the hype he had coming to us, he didn't cut it.

Having said all that, you guys are welcome to have him as long as we get Loy.

If DFC just send him a street map of Dumbarton and, cunningly, highlight the Chip Shop locations he'll probably jump at the chance to join the Sons!!!!
