Talbot won ugly tonight, very ugly....but this squad just do not know how to give up - it's a Talbot thing. We can't kid ourselves, we could have lost tonight because Girvan had very much the fresher legs, but isn't that what makes champions? Six games in the last twelve days, utterly ridiculous scheduling, but six very important wins. At least we now know we have two bites of the cherry. Fail to win at home to Pollok on Saturday and we need to do the business away at Cumnock on the very last league day of the season.

Hopefully Butch will remember where his allegiance lies and score a spectacular hat trick of own goals, the last from 45 yards on the volley.

You don’t need own goals-we haven’t played well at Beechwood for a long time

Clydebank have had a strange season. Spanked both cup finalists now but were at the wrong end of the table for most of the year.

Weird

Bringing in the 2 boys up front made most of the difference. Results picked up massively since then, though it would have been hard to do any worse in the league.

Second half getting played tomorrow

That would have suited Bonnyrigg fine....outplayed and out thought by a back 3  who swept up everything before them..The centre half a Bonnyrigg lad who was part of an outstanding Bonnyrigg under 21 team 5 years ago..but wasn't good enough for New Dundas...what is it about local clubs that don't like signing  local youngsters that want to play for them..they couldn't buy him now...end result stroll for Penicuik at 3-1..very big crowd.
