@Radford put  together a list of all the St Johnstone Premier goalscorers that was recently on the Saints thread, so the list is entirely his work and I'm just nicking it for here:

This is only goals scored in the top division, since 1975:

47 - Steven MacLean

43 - Liam Craig

39 - Paul Wright

32 - Murray Davidson

28 - Harry Curran

22 - Stevie May

19 - Roddy Grant

18 - Michael O'Halloran

17 - David Wotherspoon

16 - Chris Kane

14 - Graham Cummins, Nathan Lowndes, Fran Sandaza

13 - Dave Mackay, Keigan Parker, Danny Swanson

12 - Steven Anderson, Nigel Hasselbaink, George O'Boyle

11 - Vinny Arkins, Steve Maskrey

10 - John Davies, Allan Moore, John O'Neil, Cillian Sheridan

9 - Brian Graham, Gunni Torfason

8 - John Brogan, Paddy Connolly, Peter MacDonald, Jimmy O'Rourke, Blair Alston

7 - Gary Bollan, Darren Dods, Graeme Jones, Collin Samuel, Mark Treanor, Tommy Turner, Rowan Vine

6 - Billy Dodds, Paul Hartley, Paul Kane, Alan Kernaghan, Philip Scott, Matt Kennedy, Joe Shaughnessy

5 - Kenny Deuchar, Tommy Lovenkrands, Alan Lyons, John Paul McBride, Ian Redford, Miguel Simao, Momo Sylla

There is then another 80 plus players that have scored 3 or less goals.

Derek Riordan. 3rd all time top scorer in the SPL, behind Boyd and Larsson.

90 league goals for Hibs and 104 in all competitions, making him the 10th all time scorer in our history. Cheers Deeks.

Isn't that SPL since the 2000's though?  Is he the highest scoring Hibbee since 1975? What about Keith Wright?

I'd guess our top scorer since 1975 would still be Joey Harper, but I'm not sure on that one. Could be big Adam Rooney or Duncan Shearer or someone.

Found this Aberdeen list through google, a 2008 Aberdeen internet post. There's a few that are obvious as premier league era, but a lot I don't know:

1. HARPER, Joe 199
2. ARMSTRONG, Matt 155
3. HAMILTON, George 153
4. YORSTON, Benny 141
5. JARVIE, Drew 131
6. YORSTON, Harry 125
7. MILLS, Willie 115
8. HATHER, Jack 104
9. ROBB, Dave 99
10. McGHEE, Mark 98
11. LITTLE, Billy 98
12. JESS, Eoin 94
13. WINCHESTER, Ernie 94
14. LEGGAT, Graham 92
15. BUCKLEY, Paddy 92
16. HEWITT, John 89
17. STRACHAN, Gordon 89
18. DAVIDSON, Norrie 84
19. LOVE, Andy 83
20. SHEARER, Duncan 80
21. BLACK, Eric 70
22. BOOTH, Scott 69
23. LENNIE, Willie 68
24. DODDS, Billy 67
25. SMITH, Jimmy 64
26. FORREST, Jim 62
27. WISHART, Bobby 62
28. MILLER, Johnny 61
29. STARK, Billy 60
30. MAIN, Dave 59
31. MACKIE, Darren 58
32. CHEYNE, Alec 55
33. STRAUSS, Billy 52

Apparently only 57 of Joe Harper's goals were in the premier league era.

Its frightening to think that Darren Mackie has scored more top flight goals than any St Johnstone player. :bairn

Don't know, but Keith Wright was only at Hibs for ~6 years. I'd guess he maybe got about 60 goals. Well behind Riordan anyway.

If I was going for an older player I'd have thought Ally Mcleod might be it though he might have overlapped with pre Premier League.

Thats incredible how far ahead Larsson is of the second highest

Our third highest but second highest league goalscorer of all time.  Leigh Griffiths is about 100 goals behind him so there's an outside chance his tally could be beaten.

You're right, Wright (Wright? ) got 59, just checked.  At first I thought there must be higher than Riordan's 90, but looking at in now that's actually an excellent total.

1998-2013 were the SPL years.

Post war, Riordan is our 10th greatest goalscorer (all competitions), our 7th greatest goalscorer (league only), and our greatest goalscorer since 1975.

Capping it to league goals and appearances since 1975 only, our top scorers are:

Derek Riordan – 90 goals – (2001-2006) (2008-2001)
Ally MacLeod – 68 goals - (1975-1982)
Pat McGinlay – 60 goals - (1988-1993)(1994-2000)
Keith Wright – 59 goals - (1991-1997)
Garry O'Connor – 59 goals – (2000-2006)(2011-2012)

You've completely broken your own rules in this thread in every way possible ;)

League goals since 1975 are:

Eoin Jess – 79
Mark McGhee – 61
Darren Mackie – 57
Joe Harper – 56
Duncan Shearer – 55
Gordon Strachan – 54
John Hewitt – 54
Scott Booth – 51
Drew Jarvie – 48

Ali Crawford and Dougie Imrie both have 25.

Mickael Antoine-Curier is next with 19.

No mate he means who has scored most in total since 1975, with all the seasons added together, Not who's scored the most goals in one season since 1975.

You've surely misunderstood.
