The owner knew (roughly) what they might be in for so took all their oldest kit, marquees, fonts, lines etc and bar tops. Police stopped them from serving and then eventually escorted them to safety when they couldn't get one mad bear off the roof of one of the tents. He had apparently been up a few times and the fuzz had had enough on the 3rd go so stopped them serving until he got down. He was bouncing off the middle strut of the reinforced steel spar, somehow managing to bend it, the fat f**k. Then the big telly went down. *kaboom* All that kit, and the vast majority of the non-keg stock (mostly unsold/pinched) was utterly, irretrievably fucked then replaced brand new through the events insurance. Kerching!! Cheers bears you fucking idiots. Also, I was driving through deepest darkest Falkirkshire at 6am the morning of the game. I will never forget the sight of all these families and groups in their "best" rangers loungewear sitting on the kerbside drinking buckie and getting loaded into beaten up old transits in places like Plean and Larbert.
