There is only a couple of certainties about tomorrow that I know, our team will give everything and leave everything out on the pitch, and regardless of the result I’ll be very proud of our efforts this season. Just like to thank the guys who gave up some time to offer advice on pubs to go to, heading to an organised event in central Glasgow pre match, so hopefully a few drinks there will calm the nerves. Fuctifano Posted May 19, 2018 Share Posted May 19, 2018 Only thing that's really giving me any optimism is the Peterhead playoff from 12 years ago, where we were similarly dire and lost 2-1 in the first leg after going 1-0 up and then fluked a 2-1 win in the 2nd leg. Although even if we take it to penalties like we did then, our record with those is ... pish, and we've already lost one to Livingston this season. If Erskine can't play, my already low hopes will be minimised even further. Chances are if he does play, he'll be pish, but it's the hope that he can win a game on his own that kills you. If the players put in the effort as they have done for the previous 40-odd matches this season, I won’t be disappointed about the result. Never thought we’d be remotely close to the top four this season, let alone second, and now the play-off final.It’ll be a large away crowd by our standards, doesn’t happen too often, I’m just buzzing for the occasion and what could come.
