Decent squad named for this:

My only concern is the fact that there are 4 named 'forwards', none of whom are actually strikers. Worried we're getting carried away with the attitude that naming a savvy attacking midfielder or winger (like Phillips or Christie in the main squad) is becoming acceptable

That's the way football is at the moment - there are a lot fewer specialist centre-forwards around than there used to be.  I'd expect quite a few teams to play at the World Cup with converted wingers and so on up front.

I don’t see anyone listed as a striker.

At u20/21 level Burke is a beast of a player so could easily play the target man doing the hold up play as well as running in behind.  

Christie is certainly not a forward but phillips has done ok in that role.

For the Aussie P&Bers all games are supposed to be shown live on one of the ESPN channels through Foxtel.

Being ESPN no guarantee broadcasts will start on time.
