Nah. We wouldn't accept if the champions of any level of the SPFL were told 'well done on winning the league, now you've to win a playoff to go up'.  Other than made-up nonsense about chasms, I am not sure why the leap from tier 5 to tier 4 should be any different. Just because the former is non-league so sounds pish? There are lots of rubbish teams in the lowest tier who would likely struggle to get back up if they went into tier 5....

Everything is favoured to the BOTTOM team though. Playing the games against the lowland league team is a distinct disadvantage. With lots of junior teams now buying into it now is the time to relegate 10th. Change is GOOD.

Even if they don't add automatic relegation. Get rid of Club 42 getting home field advantage for the 2nd leg every year.
