We've got two or three "strikers" going spare if you want one...

We’re well  stocked up in the striker area but if you have a GK, LB, CB, CM, Winger you regard as surplus to requirements send him our way.

With fixtures coming out in a couple of weeks, are we guaranteed to be at home on the opening weekend so we can unfurl the league winning flag? I know this used to be the case but not sure if it still is.

If it is, who would you want on the opening weekend? I’d take Alloa and they can give us a guard of honour on to the pitch and then we can return the favour and we can just have a right good laugh at the expense of Raith Rovers. It’s also a massive chance to start the season with 3 points.

Partick. Expect a big home support due to folk no going to the title winning game, so will make the effort for the flag being unfurled. They’ll bring a good following and they’ll be an unknown quantity with loads of new players so would be a good opener. No doubt it’ll be County or ICT.

I remember getting Partick at home first game of the season after Reid brought us up the first time. We'd been in the seaside league for donkeys. Drew 1-1 from memory.

Fairly sure Mark Roberts scored from the half way line for us??

Hopefully that will be the case. Would enjoy a bevvy at the seaside in the sun.

Seven hour train journey aside*, there are worse times that one could be visiting Inverness than when the weather's like this.

* Assuming EasyJet don't see the obvious potential for a regular return service from Prestwick now that the box office days have returned

Anyone else keep going into the League 1 page and then remembering you're now in the Championship.

Yes, done that a few times. Will take some time to get used to being back in the #bigtime.
