Got that melt on ignire but looked on your recommendation. It is quite hilarious that he thinks he knows whats best for women and unborn babies in Ireland better than the women and unborn babies in Ireland who cast their votes. Also, triggering is fucking dreadful patter. Dreadful.
DrewDon
John Lambie's Da Well done, Ireland. A victory for commonsense and compassion, and against dogma. Hopefully the North will follow in the not too distant future, although I'm not exactly holding my breath.
Granny Danger
From the BBC website: The Save The 8th Amendment campaign has released a statement in reaction to exit polls. It says: "What Irish voters did yesterday is a tragedy of historic proportions. "Every time an unborn child has his or her life ended in Ireland, we will oppose that, and make our voices known. "Abortion was wrong yesterday. It remains wrong today. The constitution has changed, but the facts have not." In other words, they will be picketing clinics and trying to intimidate vulnerable women who are going through a difficult process. Arseholes.
John Lambies Doos
Vs 2000 years of religious indoctrination. Not sure why religion is being brought into this tbh.

Lovely, Here in Ontario they made "exclusion zones" where people weren't allowed to protest any less than (I think) 100 metres from an abortion clinic which is excellent. Here in Ottawa there were a few incidents where a small number of protesters were harassing women going into the clinics, it was mostly retired old p***ks Edited May 26, 2018 by senorsoupe

Bairnardo
Does anyone really think religion isnt a cornerstone of the anti-abortion lobby?
supermik
Once worked in an elderly couples house. They were absolutely sound as pound, couldn’t be nicer. Saw them on the news a few weeks later. They were screaming abuse outside an abortion clinic whilst waving large placards with pictures of aborted foetuses on them.

Get it right fucking roond ye.

Anyone who doesn’t realise this is pretty thick.
DrewDon
I'm sure if we gently remind the anti-abortion lobby that these pregnancies, if not aborted, might produce people that require support from a welfare state, or, even worse, one day become migrants or refugees, they will be more willing to reconsider their position on the practice.
