Not the first time a result down there has decided the final position between us and Ayr Whatever happens we've finally started to play a bit better away from Stark's, that'll be handy if/when it comes down to playoffs

roverthemoon
Great result. Did what was needed. Pressure now on Ayr not to lose tomorrow and even if they win or draw it still takes it to next week. All we could ask

Broken Algorithms
Really straightforward stuff with our best away game for a footballing performance since we ruined East Fife 5-0. The early goal from Murray calmed the nerves, before Vaughan hit the bar with a free kick and Buchanan missed a couple of sitters.Zanatta's run for the second was superb and he managed to get past three before the cross to Buchanan. Stranraer then put on a little bit of pressure, but seemed to have Anderson up top which was good as he was kept under wraps (he also hit a one on one right at Smith). After the third it was one way traffic with Stranraer introducing a few younger lads into the mix. Felt that Henry, Robbo, Vaughan and both Davo and Murray were outstanding. We've done our part so we can sit back and go into the final week with at least a chance. Calayrdonia
All credit to Raith, I thought 4-0 so wasn’t far away. No matter how good, bad or ugly yous play, you just keep on winning when under unbelievable pressure. That’s impressive. We’ve done the same but tomorrow is arguably our toughest test of the season. First choice full backs injured, back up fullback who can play either position also injured, our captain injured, our top goal scorer suspended, and now second in the league. Playing away to a very good team who are chasing third. Knowing we can’t lose. The pressure will be phenomenal on those players. And lucky for us, we’ve got so much talent in the final third. With a crippled defence we are just going to have to do what we did before Bell and that’s throw caution to the wind and try to score as many as we can, knowing we can’t in any way shape or form sit back at any stage. It’s all up to the players now. As someone said, you’ve done your bit. Our turn to show what champions are made of. I’m just thankful for the chance. Clayhole Blue
Stranraer are an absolute shambles. Don’t think I can take another season being in the same league as them. See you next season....
Finlay21
Tomorrow’s game is tricky , don’t know what Alloa would prefer, a play off against Ayr or Raith or against Dumbarton that could determine the outcome , that would likely be the same scenario next week
Ro Sham Bo
All credit to Smith and the players for that one. I thought we'd probably bottle it, and certainly didn't see us winning with a bit to spare. I still fancy Ayr to get the win tomorrow but we've posed the question, which is all we could do at this stage.

WSDR 88
It was said there was circa 200 away fans there today, so 90 seems very far out... anyway, not crowd chugging. Brilliant result, top of the league with a game to go. C’mon Alloa!

Calayrdonia
NINETY fans, when you’re chasing a league title? That’s utterly pathetic. We took more to Arbroath on a Wednesday night in freezing temperatures. What a poor show that is.
