Wasn’t there, but do my eyes deceive me, does that really say Morton 0?!?! Our porous seive like defence kept a clean sheet?

Too little too late, but 7th place is ours!!

Unless we overtake Morton.

Oliver must have been caught shagging Duffy’s wife if Thomson, Baird and bloody McHugh can get a game up front before him.

Just go Jim and take that old codger in the directors box with you. Time for a change from top to bottom.

His Auntie? When in Greenock I suppose...

It’s easy when you’re playing against us. Sometimes you don’t even need to try to keep a clean sheet.

Oliver is his nephew and is also injured. Awkward.

Morton fans seem upset for some reason. (St Mirren Champions?)

We’ve won 2 of our last 10 games - against Brechin and (thanks to a 90+4 goal) Dumbarton. Much like last season, we’ve gone from being in a fantastic position to whimpering our way over the line at the end of the season.

Mostly, the frustration is due to players like Frank Ross sitting on the bench despite being head and shoulders above anyone else in relevant positions, inexplicably dropping/resting key players in key games and seemingly setting us up to play long diagonals as our default strategy despite having a small front line.

St Mirren aren’t even on our radar, we’ve got enough of our own problems without concerning ourselves with them.

It's hard not to keep a clean sheet when the opposition do not have a meaningful shot on target of note .

Remember when Morton had a play-off place all but wrapped up a couple of months ago?

I'm sure you'll all enjoy the St Mirren title party next week.

Over the course of 9 games there has been an 11 point turnaround between Morton and Dunfermline.

People actually wonder why Morton fans want Duffy sacked, fucking hell.

I wouldn’t give up just yet. The gifts from our defence haven’t arrived yet. Would be very surprised if they’re not in the post.

My pessimism outweighed yours, I'm afraid.

"From the outside looking in..." is usually the start of a post worth ignoring.
