Don’t think the ssssh was towards the EF end.. [emoji6]

Wallace was just doing what the vast majority of people in the away end and the on the Arbroath bench was thinking. Like I said a few of ICs reactions to shouts were priceless.

What a racket

Not really surprised we got turned over on Saturday, we did ok till we lost the first goal and then we chucked in the towel in, second half we gave Arbroath the freedom of the park without making a tackle or letting the opposition know they were in a game. No part time team in the country could compete as normal with 6 first team players out. Johnny Page , Kevin Smith, Mark Lamont, Craig Watson, Scott Linton and Mark Docherty. That’s not excusing the lack of effort from the players in the 2nd half. They got a chance but let themselves and the supporters down. Hard to gauge how good Arbroath were as they will not have had an easier afternoon all season. The least they would have expected was the opposition to compete, but East Fife didn’t even have the heart for that. I know the games are meaningless but supporters have turned up and paid £15 to watch, the least they could have done was make a fight of it. Dick Campbell has done a great job in a couple of years if you think how rank rotten Arbroath were under the great Stevie Hyslop . However a word of caution the last time you won 5 nil at Bayview what came after can only be described as a monumental footballing collapse. Only kidding in all seriousness I don’t think any team will fancy playing Arbroath in the play offs as you look a really good unit with great options from the bench ,good luck in the play offs especially if you play Raith Rovers.

East Fife looked like a team that had nothing to play for. Going through the motions in the 2nd half.

The players missing obviously didn't help either.

We've been a bit hit and miss the last 6 weeks or so but the last 2 games have seen a much improved performance level which is just at the right time.

That is probably the most disappointing thing, a lot of those guys, especially the January signings, are playing for contracts, you would think they should/would be "trying" harder!!!
