We think it's grand that salt-of-the-earth folks like you guys, beavering away in the middle of nowhere, get the chance to come over and see what life's like in a big city now and then, with our fancy buildings, cosmopolitan food, big fitba' teams, and exotic drug habits. Who knows - maybe if your kids and grandkids come over to see a game, they could be inspired by the prestige and glamour of the rest of our fair city, and if they stick at it in school, they might be able to scrape a place into one of our colleges and maybe even make the transition full time, living the high life with a prestigious job in Jenners and a flat in Niddrie or Wester Hailes. Edinburgh always provides a warm welcome to ambitious and talented incomers from the outlying districts. That should be the aim here, let some of these underprivileged kids come through here and see how the other half live. Hamilton deserved to win the playoff game - we absolutely deserved to go down, that team was a horror show. However for the Hamilton lads thinking this makes us bitter - your dreaming, you did us a huge favour. Dominique Malonga Posted April 3, 2018 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Exactly, that play off worked out for both clubs: Hibs rebuilt our club, won the Big Cup and now sit 4th in the table. Hamilton got a DVD out of it. Don’t get me wrong none of their fans can afford to buy it, or have the means to actually watch it but it’s a beautiful idea.
