Elgin City v The Binos

Recommended Posts

This Saturday we make the trip up to Elgin to face an Elgin side still in the hunt for a playoff spot.

This is a game Elgin need to win to keep them in contention with the other 2 teams fighting for 4th spot. From our prospective would be happy with a share of the points in this game.

Team wise for the Binos we might have problems in Centre of defence if Darren Barr and Lee Hamilton cannot make it. Other than that hopefully we should be at full strength apart from one or two long term injuries.

Prediction Elgin 1 Binos 1.

After 3 draws out of our last 4 we really need to pick up a win to gain some momentum for the play offs.

Praying Barr and Hamilton are back, without them we lack experience and pace at the back. A similar result to last time we be sufficient.

Fantastic stuff. Can't wait to watch the sheer pace we possess at the back.

All we can is pray like hell that Elgin has an off day and that attack may be our best form of defence.

The game a couple of weeks ago was the worst I've seen Elgin play in  a long time.  Hopefully with Shane getting more game time and our centre halves in fine goalscoring form, it'll be a good game. Elgin to win by a goal.

Reading other reports fans are suffering from end of season jitters.  No longer the confident predictions of  3-0 etc.  If and buts who knows.  Most teams in league still have something to play for. If Dickson perfects his cross/shot we could score a couple. Pigs will fly.

He's available but not sure what he ment by that tweet.

I’ve known players in the past who have put a shift in before going to football, could of been that? Is he not a delivery driver? Quick 4 hour shift before meeting the players to head North.

He's not in your squad today by the look of it.

Nathan Flanagan is straight in to the team, curious to see how he plays.

Very opposite of the last meeting at Borough Briggs. Elgin won at a canter. Hanging on to a playoff place, but Stennys to throw away

They've been doing a good job of that their last 3 or 4 games.

Great result.  MacKay is a Maestro in the making. Project conspiracy now in full swing. He names  a weak squad. Observes  what  is happening elsewhere.  Montrose and Peterhead ahead after 4mins. Mackay capitulates after 7mins....... and the rest is history. Of those chasing the last play-off place, he has managed to elevate the weakest team into pole position. The man is an absolute GENIUS.

Can't think of any other reason.
