What about next seasons fixtures?. Those who voted for change had blinkers on. It will be impossible to incorporate another three hundred fixtures if the weather has been anything like this year

Not really - depending on what league you're in it's a minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 league fixtures extra.

Ditch the sectionals which virtually nobody's interested in anymore and use the dates wasted on them plus a couple more early season midweeks before the clocks go back to get a head start on the league programme and nobody will notice the difference.

Chances are it'll be all change - in a much bigger way - the following season anyway.

Hae you seen the East Region?

Minor cups have to go though for it to work. East have gone with Fife & Lothians, Tayside & North and the all-in East of Scotland. So everyone enters 2 knock-out cups - West could replicate that by binning the Sectional.

Wishaw still have 20 league matches to play, and they won't have matches scheduled for the two midweek before their two Scottish Junior Cup semi final legs. They're also still in the West of Scotland Cup and the Central League Cup.

Mayhem ahead for them.
