As many of you know, I've been on this site since more or less day one and haven't ever really posted anything too serious or personal in that time as it's important to keep real life and the internet as two separate entities when perusing these forums. However, I do feel this has to be publicised. One of my workmates, Vicky, recently had the devastating diagnosis that her little girl, Rebecca, is suffering from stage 4 neuroblastoma - the same child cancer that was so highly publicised in the past 12 months following the brave fight of Bradley Lowery. Vicky and her family have researched several courses of treatment (as detailed in the link below) and have reached a trial drug that is not available in this country. They have since raised a crowdfund to attempt to get accepted for this trial in America. The cost of the trial is massive (£140k) but it is definitely something that they must pursue to give their girl a chance of survival. If any of you could click the link and kindly help out this family and beautiful wee girl in anyway, even if it's a social media share to generate a bit of publicity, I'll high five you next time I see you at a game/subcrawl/defunct 5 a side tournament.
