Nothing terribly personal but the travel and no away support are big minus points. Like going to Thistle and Dundee are an easy 3 points

k-ton
I preferred to wait until it was formally confirmed, but well done St Mirren. An incredible rollercoaster couple of years for your club and no doubt you’ve been the best team in the league since January 2017. The derby games will be missed, it’s been great having them again, but there’s no chance we’ll join you in the top league. Anyhoo, enjoy the champagne and hookers. Lex
Good game good game.Let you in on a secret though, it’s better here.We go up to an inevitable relegation battle. And 1245 Sunday games against... them. Then the home games against St Johnstone and Motherwell which we will surely win...Yeah. We’ve seen us win this league 3 times in the last 18 years. Probably win it 3 times in the next 18 years too. Bravo to the boomerang. See you soon x
Dunning1874
You could look at St Mirren over the last three years and say that a lot has been going on off the pitch, the previous turmoil and now success isn't entirely down to what's going on in the public eye when you've had a new board and money coming in from player sales, but ultimately the transformation of St Mirren over the last 18 months is a lesson to every club. One managerial appointment is all it took. You can point to factors like good youth players being on the cusp of the first team and say that's luck on Ross' part, but only if you're scrambling for reasons to avoiding acknowledging how good a job he's done: no disclaimers like that remotely stand up to scrutiny. Jack Ross has done an absolutely outstanding job. One good managerial appointment was all it took to turn St Mirren from hurtling towards relegation to waltzing effortlessly to the title, and that's a lesson for every club who prevaricates to defend a failing manager. Okay, managers as good as Jack Ross aren't available to everyone, but just imagine St Mirren went down the 'we need to stick by our manager at all costs' road and gave Alex Rae the whole season last year. It's proof that one manager can transform a club.
Silvio
Jack Ross has balls the size of watermelons and trusted the youngsters to get us out of trouble. Rae nearly ruined them. Jack will be gone soon, but it's been some 14/15 months and he will be a hero forever.

Larbert_Par
Well done St Mirren. Thoroughly deserving champions after a highly impressive season. The ability to earn wins when maybe not playing at their best, in addition to the ability in their squad, has set them apart from everyone else. You can't argue with their league record this season and cap doffed to Jack Ross - what a turnaround from when he took them over. For the Buddies' sake, I hope they can keep hold of him for at least next season. Hope the celebrations were good and, although GTF day won't be for a while, best of luck in the top league next season. Well played!
