A big weekend ahead and some cracking ties to look forward to. Word on the vine is snow is forecast for Carnoustie so fingers crossed that doesn't happen. Can Bo'ness once again prove to be the hammer of Ayrshire, will Lochee United take something at fortress Bellsdale. Will the Panmure become Pan Bread or will they stop the Bot? Canny wait!

Weakest Ayrshire team that Bo’ness have faced in the tournament and they should prevail. Bellsdale isn’t a fortress because Beith attack more at home and well organised teams pick them off. Lochee will hope to win the toss and expect to score - this one could go either way. Don’t see Talbot losing unless the park’s a midden.

Semi final line up I predict will be .........Rob Roy Talbot Bo ness and Beith....

Talbot should be too strong for Carnoustie and should win by a couple of goals if their attitude is right.  Bo'ness should be helped with home advantage and that is why I think they will prevail -  if the game had been at Blair Park my choice would have been Hurlford,  Beith again with home advantage should prevail although it will be a very tricky tie against a big physical team, Robroy when they play should have too much for Wishaw or indeed Yoker..

Interesting ties, with Rob Roy still to make the quarters. We have a tricky one against Hurlford and although we won convincingly against Kilwinning - maybe they believed the pundits - and then beat Rutherglen and Kilbirnie in what I would describe as  more workmanlike.

Auchinleck should have too much for Carnoustie whilst the Beith - Lochee tie could go either way.

Hope it's all about the BU's.

Rob Roy ARE in the quarters, they are waiting to play the winners of the Yoker / Wishaw tie

On a nice day on a nice park Talbot would probably beat Carnoustie 19 times out of 20. But the pitch will be poor i.e. bumpy and slippy with a fair old freezing gusty wind blowing the length of the park.

I predict the Gowfers may get the lucky breaks and beat the Bot.

Mon the East !!!

Looking forward to some good ties and beith v lochee will be a cracker and beith will go in as the underdogs again and would be great if we could make it to the semi final again..................

Great to see plucky little Beith make this stage of the big cup.

Absolute fairy tail stuff and hopefully you give a good account of yourselves against the big city slickers and enjoy your special day out.

Excitement building on our manoevres east tomorrow, hope it doesn't snow or pee down. Will Talbot be ring rusty or fly from the traps, will Carnoustie try and shackle Shankland and Glasgow or take the game to Talbot, passing the suppporters buses on the motorway on route to cross the barry burn, its what quarter final day in the Scottish Junior Cup is all about.Do any fellow P&B friends in the area know the condition of panmures park,it doesn't look to have many concrete terracing from pictures on internet.

Wide open park running East to West or vice versa for the pedantic among us. Usually not bad surface but may be Soft-ish. Snow was forecast overnight but nothing hear in North East Fife. Am watching erjfa site for updates. Carsnoutie!! No match for Talbot on paper but hey! Scottish Cup throws up a surprise every round. Going to be cold and windy if On!! May fit a win on the day.

Sorry didnae give spectator facilities! Small grass bank all round with hardish standing on South side. No cover. Good pies and decent cuppa if you leave tea bag in [emoji16] Decent car parking but get early.
