Sounds like Smith was raging last night. Will we get a reaction on Sunday? Is it too late? Does anyone care?
#roaringback in to action.

It’s fair to say any interest we have in the match depends on Ayr’s results. If they win both before we play, it’s all about trying out a new system for the play-offs, for me.

Bring back Dave McKay.

I’ve never seen Barry Smith smile! He should try it more often.

Is that what he looks like when there’s no pressure to achieve anything?

Maybe. Could be why he's taking Raith out the title race?

If Robertson's back in midfield we've a chance. It's no coincidence that when he's out we're rank rotten.

It wasn’t a great plan to start the season with two competent midfielder playmakers, one of whom was injury prone (Robertson), then flog one of them in August (Callachan).

It’s definitely curtailed our season.

It’s not a great state of affairs sitting here with fingers crossed for Arbroath and Forfar to do us favours, but what can you do.

Still, it’s only Easy Fife on Sunday. We should get 3 points there. Even without a midfield.

Oh yeah. This is probably the safest three points Raith will ever have against us.

It would be peak East Fife to lose a derby against a team on a slump on the back of a great wee run. We'd probably get beat by Cowden if we played them next weekend.

Funny how yous haven’t beaten forfar or Albion rov away twice each, who are in the bottom 3,as a rovers fan said earlier”how are we goin to manage next season if we do go up playin livi, dunf etc”

East Fife won’t get a better chance to beat Raith but I still fully expect Raith to win. East Fife are awful which is surprising given they are 5th.

Yes we have been truly dreadful on our two visits to Somerset & have been lucky to get away with 3-0 on both occasions but even your manager said that 4-1 flattered you at Bayview and in fact he said that the better team lost! Awful we are not, inconsistent we most certainly have been

I have to agree with this as we were poor last at Bayview but still manage to score 4

Nothing to lose! Raith are on a bad run and looking at the stats v Forfar it looks like they took a bit of a doing last night so confidence will be low. I have been one of Darren's biggest critic but fair play to him and the team for battling on and that was a great result v Alloa. Any win will do. Mon the Fife

Grant, generally what happens when you go up to the Championship is you get rid of players who aren’t going to hack it and you sign some better players. Then you try to not get relegated or go bust, while assembling a decent squad. Then you possibly challenge for the league title or play-offs.

Then, if you’re really unfortunate, your dumb f**k Board of inept blazers hires the likes of Gary F Locke and gets you relegated, ably assisted by a player you’ve loaned to a rival team in the same league, while selling all your decent youth players. Then you crash into the Seaside League and stay there for 2 or 3 seasons.

Elton John wrote a song about it.
