The game at Girvan yesterday should never of been off its junior football in the middle of one of the worst winters for years and i think officials are looking for champions league standard parks, we have played on far worse recently and not just away from home, absolute joke

Or to translate this thread title ;

' We at kilwinning have finally done some work to our pitch so  let's try and slate others '
Kilwinning have done well with their pitch of late but no need to get smarmy towards others you complete roaster .

Correct !

Finally got their house in order and top of the league for two minutes and are starting to call the shots

Buffs pitch cut up badly yesterday. Surprised that the club let Dalry use it given the conditions.

We played at Kello on saturday, The game was  played to a finish but the state of the goalmouths at the end was as bad as I have ever seen. The ground is effectively wrecked till the end of the season.

lucky that the larkhall thistle v cumbernauld game went ahead and really enjoyed the spectacle but i pity the poor groundsman and the kit person!
Fantastic pics
A throw back to the old days when many a game was played on heavy pitches.
Now a wee bit mud, frost, rain or a soft patch and games are postponed. (Wouldn't want to wash strips though lol)

Sitting waiting for the Leyton Orient game to start. Check the nick of the pitch.

Think we can be a wee bit over the top criticising Junior pitches when you consider the budget they spend to end up with THAT is probably several Junior pitch budgets combined.
