Peppino Impastato
Is anyone going to tell welshbairn about yesterday's hilariously blatant SNP smear the BBC conducted yesterday, as they do most days? Or is he better to be allowed to live in blissful delusion that the BBC wouldn't lie cause reasons? If anyone has stats on how many foi requests the BBC has sent to Scottish health boards in a literally daily quest to desperately manufacture SNP bad stories, compared to how many they submitted when labour were in power, that would be very enlightening too. The BBC are a public body so if you want to know then ask them.

Interestingly they claim not to be obliged to answer. Quote Thank you for your request to the BBC seeking the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000: How many FOI requests did BBC journalists submit to organisations external to the BBC in 2016-17? How much did the time taken to submit the FOIs by BBC employees cost? What percentage of the FOI requests submitted to organisations external to the BBC were responded to? Please note that the information you have requested is excluded from the Act because it is held for the purposes of ‘journalism, art or literature.’ Part VI of Schedule 1 to the Act provides that information held by the BBC and the other public service broadcasters is only covered by the Act if it is held for ‘purposes other than those of journalism, art or literature” 1. The BBC is not required by the Act to supply information held for the purposes of creating the BBC’s output or information that supports and is closely associated with these creative activities. The limited application of the Act to public service broadcasters is to protect freedom of expression and the rights of the media, guaranteed under Article 10 European Convention on Human Rights (“ECHR”). The BBC, as a media organisation, is under a duty to impart information and ideas on all matters of public interest and the importance of this function has been recognised by the European Court of Human Rights. Maintaining our editorial independence is a crucial factor in enabling the media to fulfil this function. https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/418460/response/1011080/attach/html/2/RFI20171026 Response.pdf.html

Inanimate Carbon Rod
Even the coverage of the Commonwealth games is fucking despicable. Scotland wins a gold medal in the swimming and they don’t bother interviewing him after. Scotland has 2 qualify for a swimming final, neither interviewed but they interview Adam Peaty. Fucking disgraceful coverage.

Fucking disgraceful coverage. I stopped watching when I saw that p***k Prince Charles was opening the games. Was it another “send your son to work” day? It’s not his job. If his mother is too decrepit to manage it, then she should resign and allow the Commonwealth to decide whether it wants to elect her son. The role is not hereditary.
