Need some advice guys. I've had the urge to buy an airfix WW2 model plane kit today and even watched videos showing tips on gluing and painting them......is this a mid life crisis, a cry for help or a legitimate hobby for a semi retired 42yo?!

Do you have any other (sensible) hobbies you'd recommend?

Nothing wrong with a hobby. I've got a Mini Cooper model kit in my cupboard that I got for Christmas, will get fired into it one evening when the weans are at their Nana's.

Any 42 year old who has an urge to buy an Airfix model kit has a serious hole in their life.  Seriously.

Serial Killing.

Start with Danger, they'd just write it off as natural causes anyway. Plus you could pm WTM for tips.

If you want me dead grow a pair and try doing it yourself.
