2426255 Posted September 18, 2023 Share Posted September 18, 2023 (edited) I wonder if McTominay's role in the game was more off the ball (tracking, blocking etc) considering he stayed on for 85 minutes and Mitoma was operating on his side of the pitch. I didn't watch the game, but maybe someone who did could speak to that. Against Cyprus and Georgia he recorded around 30 passes. It's clear his game isn't really about being on the ball loads so I'm hesitant to read into his passing numbers too much.
