I think most Rovers fans would have been ok with that before a ball was kicked. There's no guarantee Ayr won't drop points at Arbroath and/or Forfar either. I did but I have to admit that when Raith signed Spence and Buchanan I thought they would walk it. On paper they could have had 20 goals each but it quickly became apparent that Smiths only plan was to throw them together and hope for goals.
