Ranaldo Bairn
As the years roll on, one often finds one's mind casting back over years gone by. In this mood, I was relating the tale to my uncle the other evening of the faded memory I have of the very first (semi) professional football match I attended, which he took me to. We narrowed it down to a North of Scotland Cup final. It was played at Grant Street in Inverness, home of Clach, and it featured Brora Rangers. I remember being very impressed with their natty red and white shirts. The time is somewhere in the 77 to 82 bracket. Now I can see Wikipedia has a list of winners, but if anyone could narrow down the date, score and opposition for me I'd be eternally obliged. The Nightfly
I believe that Brora beat Lossiemouth in 1981.
