Not doubting you but find those a bit strange. Neither having good seasons with Bearsden sitting 2nd bottom and only above Symington who haven’t played any games. Think Kilsyth had a good team a few seasons ago. Maybe both thinking a fresh start? Or a way to attract better players?

Welcome to the 3 new teams joining the central. Hopefully they can do well, few teams that were recently brought in haven’t lasted long. Sad to see Kilsyth ams go great club hopefully works out for Gary n co in Caledonian league.

Heard a few good reports about Pennies and Fallin from the Stirling District League.  Pennies would definetely fancy thereselves against any of the teams from the Central Premier going on result against Harestanes.

Fallin also taking Bannockburn to replay and extra time so they cant be any mugs either.

Did they?

Fair point. Would think these teams obviously think they are good enough to compete and are maybe looking for a better challenge.  From a playing point of view it must be better playing in hard fought wins than winning at a canter most weeks?

There will allways be an argument for that but only time will tell if the teams that choose to move end up being successfull or not.

If the clubs believe it is the best option for them then why not give it a go. There will allways be people who will put a negative spin on it but sometimes a change is as good as a rest and moving to another league may re-energise a club that has maybe gone a bit flat or stale.

With most teams opting for the Caley or Central league , im interested to hear peoples opinions on both leagues? Seems to be that the Central is considered the best?

Going by majors you’d have to say central definitely dominant. Obviously colville have been dominant the last few seasons in the Scottish and St pats look very strong this year. Out with the top 3 or 4 teams in central id say the leagues are very similar and that the Cali divisions 1A and 1B probably stronger.

In the Scottish Dumbarton Academy, Thorn Athletic, Stenhousemuir Community and maybe Larkhall Thistle(don't know what is happening with their tie worth Maryhill Thistle) are left from the Caley league.

Dumbaton Academy and Wishaw Wycombe Wanderers are left in the West.

In the Scottish Bannockburn, Bridgewater, Harestanes, St Patrick's and Tullibody Community (replay with Goldenhill) are left from Central league.

Colville, Garrowhill Thistle, Harestanes, Southside and St Patrick's are left in the West.
