The Moonster
I believe it's only the Annan boy(s) being pulled up for the "fight", if you can call it that. Jumped him in the car park apparently.

Sao Paulo
Some are clearly itching for Ally Love to be found to have done whatever it is he's alleged to have done; using racial or ethnic invectives, something of that order. It'd be disgraceful if he was ruled-against on the basis of testimony from opposition players only. Of course, you don't expect football associations to have procedures quite as scrupulous as the courts. But it'd be nice if the presumption of innocence, reasonable-doubt standard and pinch-of-salt you see sprinkled on hearsay evidence was carried-over. Having said that, the state can brand a man a rapist in Venezuela Scotland without competing against all those protections. So what's another man's reputation and livelihood? endieinreekie
Cue the apologists saying that because he hasn't been convicted in a criminal court it doesn't count. Disgusting club.

You mean like when Thistle sacked John Hart in 92, didnt tell the police about it, sent a healthy club representation to his funeral in 95 then when got caught out in 2016 finally decided to fully co-operate....that kind of club? Aye fair right enough. This was a chance for the authorities to hammer home a message that racism should not be tolerated and they have failed big time. Makes a mockery of those show racism the red card displays IMO.

It's not just a 5 game ban though, thousands in legal fees and a racist tag which will likely stick to him for the rest of his career. When you consider this is all on the word of 2 men (whose story has changed since the initial complaint) then I'm not sure a 5 game ban is light at all. Spot on O Hara got 8 games about shiels eye because it was championship clubs involved. The SFA don’t give a toss about the lower leagues and issues like this are just a nuisance to them. i don’t expect Clyde to take any action. When the court hearing found the rapists guilty, we sacked David Robertson but Clyde signed his co accused Goodwillie. Fans of Clubs will generally support their signings and defend their players action, no matter how disgusting. so if I go to Clyde on Sat and shout abuse at Love and Goodwillie, I will probably be thrown out by stewards. What a fucked up country we live in.
The Moonster
Do the folk screaming "throw the book at him" here actually have any idea as to what's supposedly gone on (other than the newspaper article which had him pretty much convicted before the case was even heard)? By all accounts this was a case based on a referees report which highlighted racial abuse from Love. If there was very little evidence as you put it , he wouldn't or couldn't have been found guilty . He was and to be honest the book should have been thrown at him .............. It wasn't .
BullyWeeLad
f**k all evidence that he did it, you can hear everything on the park at broadwood not one person heard this..... if it was Omar that racially abused Ally Love they would laugh. It was brought to the referees attention by the player from what I have heard. Referee did not directly hear anything.
