JamieStevenson Posted February 7, 2018 Share Posted February 7, 2018 The final stop on the Road to WrestleMania will be the SmackDown exclusive PPV event Fastlane on Sunday March 11th 2018 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. This will follow the 1 hour Kickoff Show (11PM) and 3 hour main card (Midnight) format. It will be the fourth installment of Fastlane. SmackDown are still heavily focusing on a growing divide between Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan. This has resulted in even more title opportunities for Sami Zayn and especially Kevin Owens, who will be going after the WWE Championship in a triple threat match. It must be mentioned that Kevin Owens did lose his Universal Championship in seconds at the 2017 Fastlane PPV against auld Bill Goldberg. Confirmed Matches: Naomi and Becky Lynch vs Natalya and Carmella. Shinsuke Nakamura vs Rusev. Charlotte © vs Ruby Riott for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship. Bobby Roode © vs Randy Orton for the WWE United States Championship. The Usos © vs The New Day for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship. Would rejuvenate him and give him a decent program to see out through the summer. Or I can see him winning and main eventing Mania just for a classic Vince troll. So why would they believe this is anything more than a bit of an internet fad? Which also means WWE won't really care if he's more over than the champ in waiting.
