Bit too young to remember it first time round but it is absolutely brilliant! Great characters, gritty yet funny and not afraid to pull punches. There was even a belated computer game, for those interested in such things. Dennis Franz played Andy Sipowicz in NYPD Blue. He played Lt. Norman Buntz in HSB but appeared in some earlier programmes as Det. Joyce Davenport is an absolute wid obvs but there is something about Fay Furillo, a harridan for sure but no doubt dynamite in bed. As for Grace Gardiner....
