Similar to 8mile albums i can listen to all the way through without skipping or getting bored
AC/DC - High Voltage, let there be rock, Back in black, Highway to hell, Powerage and live.
Oasis - Definitely Maybe
Iron Maiden - First 7 studio albums apart from piece of mind. "Quest for fire is an abomination"
Pantera - Cowboys from hell
Def Leppard - Pyromania and Hysteria
Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance and Defenders of the faith.
Van Halen - 1984 and Zero (ep)
I'd have included Stone Roses but i can't be doing with that backwards song.
Extreme's Pornograffitti i only skip a couple out of the 13 tracks.

Ha Don’t Stop, the backwards one, is my favourite song on the album. It’s genius!!

Just listened to Fuzzy Logic by Super Furry Animals all the way through for the first time in 18 years.

I know that because some p***k stole it from my house around 1999/2000 and I only got round to buying it again on Friday in a Kilmarnock charity shop.

Still a fine album though :thumsup2

It's a great album, my third favourite after Radiator and Mwng.

Fantastic album. Their live set at TITP 1998 still stands out as one of the best gigs I've been to.

Listening to a complete album is pretty much my default position. Occasionally skip a track here and there and also have a few playlists where things get mixed up. Really can't get my head around the thought that there are people who claim to be "into" music who don't actually listen to whole albums on a regular basis.

Got a man cave type set up now just started putting on old cds again whilst I play n64, pretty hate machine and odelay on constant rotation at the minute. There’s a pub I go to once a month for a footy quiz that plays old punk/metal albums in full and it’s really refreshing to a dinosaur like me.

Coming to this conversation quite late, but I have to admit I have fallen into the trap of short-termism and usually hit random or use a playlist, or listen to a greatest hits “CD” these days.  There are very few albums I would listen to all the way through.

The following list of albums that I would listen to all the way through are probably a reflection of the fact that back in the day you had shuffle on your CD player and that was it.  So, you had to listen to an album all the way through.  Because I listened to these albums constantly back in the early/mid 90’s you became familiar with the whole album and therefore can still listen to it today.

Metallica - ....And Justice For all

Guns 'n' Roses - Appetite for Destruction

REM - Automatic for the People

Soul Asylum- Grave Dancers Union

Nirvana -In Utero

Travis - The Man Who

Metallica - Master of Puppets

Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

REM - Monster

Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine

Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream

Pearl Jam - Ten

Pearl Jam - VS

Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power

Oasis - What's The Story Morning Glory

Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain

Biffy Clyro - Only Revolutions

In the 90's, I had Pocket Full of Krptonite by the Spin Doctors on CD.  That was a big cost back then, but traded it for the cassette (lesser cost) of ...And Justice For All by Metallica, which was probably the best deal I have ever done!
