Interesting times ahead probably.

Yes, you would expect with Alan Macrae's background that the new appointment will have a brief for lower league football and developing the pyramid... although there are some more important priorities just now like the national stadium, new manager, major sponsor needed etc

Scott Robertson is the only man with the admin skills for this role. Murrayfield as new national team manager, Peter Martin and Alan Rough to host the finals and Gamblers Anonymous as sponsors. Sorted.

Well SR (West Region Sec) has the same initials so it would be a saving on changing the name on the office door. Also he would be just as unpopular and make an even bigger cod of the job (is that pos.sible?)

The administration of Scottish football is a JOKE at all levels so maybe Phil Differ could step in, at least he has a great knowledge of football having been the producer of Only An Excuse for many years.

This must be the first time Only an Excuse and  great knowledge of football have been used in the same sentence in ages,

Well since the news tonight is that the SFA might be looking outside the football world for a new chief it might well be appropriate.

Also you might be surprised just how much Phil Differ DOES know about the game, certainly as much or more than the average contributor  on here.

Think the last time was when Kinky Afro told us that some asshole spreading malicious rumours about a man with a great knowledge of Junior Football was only an excuse for his own failings as a club chairman.
