Gimmick PPV time for the RAW brand. Elimination Chamber will take place on Sunday February 25th 2017 at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada (Las Vegas). This will follow the 1 hour Kickoff Show (Midnight) and 3 hour main card (1AM) format. It will be the eighth installment of this PPV. The Elimination Chamber match is a six participant match wherein two participants begin the match in the ring as the remaining four are held within each inner enclosure (pod) and are released into the match at five-minute intervals. The objective is to eliminate each opponent from the match via pinfall or submission. The winner is the last remaining participant after all others have been eliminated. For the first time ever we will also have the women's chamber match!!! This event will give us the perfect indication of how WrestleMania 34 will shape up, it should be a good one.

Ronda Rousey will be signing her Raw contract.

Confirmed Matches:

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs The Miztourage (Kickoff Match)

"Woken" Matt Hardy vs Bray Wyatt.

Cesaro and Sheamus (C) vs Titus O'Neil & Apollo for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship.

Asuka vs Nia Jax. If Nia wins she will be in the WWE Raw Women's Championship Match at WrestleMania 34.

Alexa Bliss (C) vs Bayley vs Mandy Rose vs Mickie James vs Sonya Deville vs Sasha Banks in an Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship.

Braun Strowman vs Elias vs John Cena vs Roman Reigns vs The Miz vs Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins in an Elimination Chamber match for a WWE Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 34.

The new and improved chamber they used last year led to a very good match if I remember right, even though there was a bit of criticism at the time for them making it more "safe".  Only problem is that I imagine both matches are going to be achingly predictable.  It's well known that their plan is Reigns vs Lesnar, so unless they massively change it (and I'm not sure who they would change it to) then Reigns is jobbing out everyone.

Women's one is a little harder to predict, but I expect once we reach the event it'll be a bit more obvious.  Assume Asuka is a lock for the main event, so she'll await the winner.  Presumably Bliss, Jax, Banks and Bayley will be involved, then maybe Paige's burds filling out the final 2.  Or Rousey maybe?  Bliss vs Asuka doesn't really pop for me, given the only way they can sensibly go is for Asuka to win.  The only one that really excites would be if they put Rousey in the Chamber and she did what she should have done at the Rumble and runs a train on everyone, shows a proper nasty side.  Then you can have the 40 week build up to WM building up Asuka vs Rousey, where the former humbles her ahead of a quick face-turn or something.  They're not going to do that, because Steph has to get her shit in first, but still.

Part of me thinks Asuka is going after Charlotte at Mania.

Allows them to keep Rousey and Asuka apart for a while.

I mean we’re already going to have Elias singing in a pod and Braun probably overturning the entire chamber so it’s already shaping up to be some PPV.

I'd quite like to see Braun drop the Chamber on Elias's guitar Elias tbh.

Tag title match is official. We also have a Kickoff Match. Not going to bother doing a write up for this PPV. Think I'll get one up for Fastlane though as there are at least some storylines on SmackDown whereas there aren't any on RAW.

I won't be watching this live and don't particularly care for spoilers as I feel like I know who's going to win the matches. Will need to set up a WM34 thread as well.
