Using the English pyramid as a model, it would be correct to say that Burton Albion have climbed up to Championship level from non-league. Whilst unlikely, at the moment, they could at one point end up in the Premiership & qualify for Europe. If you don't want to embrace new ideas keep your head firmly buried in the sand. It has been explained before that a period of natural settlement would take place in a pyramid. Until then, any club would have to admit they were lower not parallel. In simple parlance, it's called working your way up. Wigan athletic got promoted to the football league in 1978, ended up in the premiership and won the fa cup in 2013 qualifying for Europe Only reason I didn't use them as an example was that they entered the Football League through the old re-election process. (southport fan) That year shows how things can change, as 4 clubs in Division 4 then are now in the Premiership and 4 are in the National League - North. And whilst on the pyramid, does anyone know when the next SFA Licensing Committee is meeting ? Are any junior or senior clubs known to be making progress, consistent with SFA licensing rules ? I hold no official position within the club, so cannot give you the answer you seek. Amongst fellow fans I know, the majority are in favour of change but there are still some, admittedly older, fans who wish to keep the status quo. Not going to deny I’ve had other IDs but your guestimation is well exaggerated. I’ve had 2 others , my last one being Serendipity.
