As for Buzz , I think it is maybe time to either sign another experienced keeper to give him a bit of competition or give Paddy his chance for the rest of the season to see if he has what it takes for next season. That could be the answer. Just think paddy has been patient and he should be given his chance he's been pretty decent the few times I've seen him Aye he had a few clean sheets the last wee run he got . Buzz is a great shotstopper but every high ball and corner that comes in now is a concern.
Ton_74
I see the orcs from Greenock were out in force again. The minute I walked into the Glebe and down the hedge side I witnessed a group of thugs ganging up and manhandling a steward who must have had the audacity to try and chuck some of these clowns out for their behaviour. He was hit by a pie but thankfully the guy who tried spitting on him hit the hedge instead... Good to see the Polis eventually turn up at second half and catch some of the culprits. Wonder how many arrests there were? Every other away support can manage to behave and in far bigger numbers too. Nonsense. I suggest finding out the facts before running to the defence of your stewards. If anyone’s a ‘thug’ it’s the steward who was intent on causing problems for absolutely no reason. Guess working at a pub team like Brechin must be rather boring so he was looking for a bit of action. As for the wee boot calling herself the ‘safety officer’ - she was in amongst the crowd and as soon as a sniff of some action became apparent she charged over and was thoroughly enjoying herself. As I said, must be boring working for an irrelevant little club like Brechin City. Enjoy the seaside league.
Ira Gaines
Funny how we don't have bother with stewards anywhere else. Reminds me of the time Motherwell came to Cappielow and the stewards kicked off, causing all sorts of rammy over f**k all in their end. Pretty much everyone agreed it was f**k all that led to it. Think the entire Greenock police force ran past me at one point. Stewards can be right b*****ds wherever you go. We happened to run into one of your b*****ds it seems. The stewards don't just fire in for no reason. For what it's worth I was standing with a couple of young Morton fans having a chat just up from the fracas and even they thought it ridiculous that people would travel all that way to cause bother before a ball was even kicked. Stewards are people as well, and people are capable of being arseholes. Unless you're disputing that, then there's absolutely no basis for this quote. Because from what I saw it looked like a group had ganged up on the steward before a pie was thrown at him and also someone spat him also which is quite frankly disgusting. Regardless of whether they thought it was unfair that someone (or more) was being ejected that is unacceptable behaviour. Our stewards don't go out their way for things to do or cause problems - if anything they avoid the trouble and if something ever kicks off at the Glebe it takes ages for it to be dealt with. It's a shame that despite your greatest efforts, you couldn't get the better of a "pub team" yesterday.

Ira Gaines
A note on the result btw. A draw is disappointing of course, but there's also a bit of relief that we weren't the team to lose to them first. After we went down 1-0 I was panicked a bit. The quick equalizer had me more relieved than delighted.

Hedgecutter
RE Piegate, I was talking to a Morton fan down the road who brought it up with me and said how glad he was to at last see some stewards / police deal with the nonsense that they get away with elsewhere, so not quite sure the 'we don't cause bother anywhere else' argument holds here. As for the game, I would be absolutely raging if Brechin had missed Morton's chances yesterday, second half in particular. Must have been three basic headers put high/wide at the start of the half, two or three basic shots pulled wide and a two on one situation that we impressively managed to snuff out. Morton should have won that by around five goals tbh, but credit goes to our defence who threw absolutely everything at any ball, potentially throwing Morton off that bit more, although we were certainly lucky to play them on a pretty off-game. A good point in the end.
IainMorton
Brechin fans (some, not all...) are obviously finding it difficult being in a big league, at least they will be back in their rightful place soon

It is only when people who obviously have no social skills and are used to being herded into segregated areas start to believe they are somehow superior to anyone else that problems like yesterday occur. Hedgecutter
Brechin fans (some, not all...) are obviously finding it difficult being in a big league, at least they will be back in their rightful place soon [emoji4] I for one have been enjoying punching above our weight for several years and have little issue going back to our so called 'rightful place'. Perhaps Morton fans will one day experience and enjoy this delightful concept that has so far evaded them all their lives. Until then, they'll just need to continue boasting about a cup win that no living person has ever witnessed, making do with asking this years' visiting St Mirren, Caley & Dundee Utd fans about their first-hand experiences. That or reminisce about their last experience of top-tier football which most other nearby towns of comparable size seem to play in on a regular basis. Willie Miller was lifting European trophies with Aberdeen that season I believe. Basically, Morton fans are the last lot that should be bringing up the subject of rightful places. If we followed your example then we'd be up against Fort William next week.
