Queens v Dumbarton

Recommended Posts

I don’t think GN rates wingers much. This season I’ve watched many players out wide and don’t recall seeing wingers there. Attacking fullbacks, Dykes, Dobbie(!?) et al. Maybe Stirling should change his name to Al ( arf! arf!)

Would have been livid had that been given as a penalty. No intent there as he was using his arm to get up and his back was to the ball.

I'm more interested with the early offside decision. Hard to tell from that angle but he looks in line to me and that's without seeing where Dowie is when the ball is played.

I have nothing further to add.

I would like to provide an almighty bump to this thread.

My view on Lyndon Dykes is that he's the greatest talent Scotland has produced. And I now want to be him. Not just have his boots (which I did end up buying).

Quite enjoyed reading this thread back. A few weeks after that game we would sign Kevin Nisbet on loan from Partick Thistle. He would do little, other than spectacularly miss a penalty against a Queen of the South side featuring Lyndon Dykes in March.
