Welcome to the official thread for The Real Scottish Cup.

The winner will be decided during a knockout tournament decided by the people of P&B.

The draw was made on a random cup draw simulator and here it is...

Montrose
Ross County
Cowdenbeath
Raith
Hibs
Ayr
Stranraer
St Mirren
Arbroath
Falkirk
Dundee
Morton vs Rangers
Aberdeen vs Peterhead
Clyde
Dundee United
Albion Rovers vs Stenhousemuir
QP
Airdrie vs Berwick Rangers
Motherwell
East Fife vs Partick Thistle
Celtic vs Brechin
Forfar vs Kilmarnock
Alloa
Elgin vs Dumbarton
Annan vs Livingston
Edinburgh City
St Johnstone
ICT
Dunfermline vs Hamilton
QotS
Stirling
Hearts

Any team by themselves get a by so we get down to 32 teams for the 2nd round. As of the 2nd round I'll be doing the draw with audience participation but first one I've just done all together. Fixtures will be up for 24 hours to get your vote in, 3 maximum at a time.

Good luck everyone.

Albion Rovers to beat Stenhousemuir 4-3. Dunlop brothers regret move away from Cliftonhill. Rovers defense leaks three embarrassing goals but Trouten and Shields chip in with a brace each. Stennie management and fans blame Cliftonhill playing surface.

This might actually be fun, Donny. Get the draws up on Periscope like the pros do. Oh, and I think the SFA have used it before as well.

  • A shock away win for plucky Brechin at Parkhead, with an extra-time winner from fan favourite Isaac Layne breaking the deadlock. Mmm, lovely.
  • Straightforward 3-1 win for in-forn Annan, leaving the franchise to concentrate on the league/relocation.
  • Hard-fought 2-0 win for Dumbo in the Highlands. Still have a soft spot for those boys.

I'll take the Hedgemasters(Brechin) over the Palestinian tribute act(Celtic). 4-3.

The Gers to be up 4-0 at half time and win 5-4. With the obligatory Jack sending off. Mexican Ross(Herrara) to score the winner. As he never scores normally and feel a bit sorry for him.

East Fife too, could it be there year?

British Football League Champions - Alternative History 1889 - 2017

I took a few hours to do this. But I think it was worth it.

This is looking at if the Scottish, English, Welsh, and Northern Irish Leagues did not exist, and instead the British League had started in 1889 with Scottish, Welsh, English and Irish (then Northern Irish after Irish independence) sides were allowed to join.

I do not support the Scottish, English, Welsh, and Northern Irish Leagues merging. I am an Aberdeen, and Inverness fan. We would do nothing in a modern day British League system nowadays. Plus Scotland would lose a major way of showing it’s identity to the rest of the world. But I have done this list to decide who would have been British champions in an age where the Scottish and English leagues merged.

I have also added a bit of couner history with the fact that if Northern Ireland has been part of a British League, the Northern Irish teams would have been bigger. Plus I have added an imaginary team called Dublin Irish Celtic United, to represent Republic of Ireland football before independence.

Plus I have taken into account, how much bigger sides from Scotland and Northern Ireland would be with British Premiership TV money.

Somebody posted that once before. I'd love them to show their working, as it doesn't haf seem like a whole mountain of testicles.

We need a 'Scottish football if religion had never existed' timeline. Please be specific.
