The Buddies v Dundee United

Recommended Posts

BT Sport certainly got this one right what a mouth watering game this Friday with both teams slowly pulling away from the pack. Cammy , Gavin , Lewis are a real handful with lots of pace the new lad from Livingstone looks a right good player. Jack Ross has a headache choosing the defence it's the strongest it's been all season Gary Mc , Davis , Baird all have been playing out their skin. We have a good midfield but what we don't have is a digger / hardman ball holder in there it's our only weakness thankfully one is inbound January. United fans in a wee wake up call in this game we will win because you like to go forward the kind of game that best suits us.

Nonsense. Our only weakness doesn’t lie in not having a scrapper in midfield. We have a decent team but by no means are we great. We were missing one player in Cammy Smith against Dumbarton and created nothing the whole game. Dundee Utd have a better squad as you’d expect, we have a huge task on our hands if we are to win the league.

Gary MacKenzie was very suspect yesterday. Baird and Davis should be the centre backs, no qualms over that.

That was Gary Mac first game back yesterday so game time is important , Mac has scored many crucial goals from set peaces yesterday's winner proves the point Ross has a hard decision on his hands. Unlike yourself I'm more confident at home than I would be up at Dundee. Both teams have some great players and both teams will score but feel we will edge this game United fans think they are going to run away with the league there not it's going to be a hard fought title. Our incoming players will make us a lot stronger for the final run in. As I wrote United will come at us our pace will cause damage.

Edit to add - We are the leagues top scorers 35 goals in 18 games is title winning stats.
