Ross' Resplendency .vs. Csaba's Shenanigans - 29/12 - 19:45

Nonsense. Studs were up but he didn't go in to stamp. It just ended up being worse that it should have been as McMullan just got there before him, and had for some reason decided to slide in instead of stay on his feet.

Come on now, he could easily have lifted his foot or jumped over him, he chose to come right down on his leg.

Why exactly did Magennis have his studs up? If McMullan had stayed on his feet and still won the ball as you suggest, he would have got Magennis' studs in his ankle rather than his shin.

It was a dreadful challenge by Magennis, and the attempts to blame McMullan despite the fact he won the tackle cleanly are ridiculous.

HT 0-0

Not any good from either team, hopefully no neutrals are spending their Friday evening watching this nonsense.

We have the best goalie in the league to thank for keeping it 0-0, fantastic penalty save from the Ginger Ninja.

Apart from that, plenty of huffing and puffing but no quality on show. Conditions playing their part, probably.

Either side could win, hopefully us. 0-0 the most likely though.

Did Paul McMullan teabag the wives of every 10th St Mirren fan at some point? I'm not sure what else would explain the vitriol being screamed at him - quite weird.

Still on the topic of McMullan - as soon as I saw him standing over the penalty, I thought why? This was followed by the very definition of a shite penalty - perfect height for the keeper, slightly to one side.

Still, we look the better side.

How badly has the Championship regressed? FS.
